That saying has been around a long time, and still holds true today. With a proper 3D render, anyone can grasp your design intent. While 3D renders can be used for a variety of reasons, most are used for new construction, product design, or remodeling projects. Contractors, builders, and architects often hire 3D artists to create these renders in order to highlight intricate details of a design. Feasibility Studies
If you have an idea and just need help fleshing it out, call on us. We have years of experience developing 3D models for construction purposes in a professional setting. We work just as well with homeowners looking to upgrade their backyard as we do with large architectural firms. We can model your project in 3D using SketchUp no matter where you are at in the design process. We have taken a simple “napkin sketch” and turned it into a fully-fledged model. Maybe all you have is a general overview of the details you want – that’s ok, too. We have worked with normal homeowners who simply told us the broad outline of what they wanted so they could see their vision come to life.
No matter if you have full architectural plans for reference or a bullet point wish list, we can model your project in 3D to help determine any potential pitfalls or constructability issues upfront – saving you both time and money once construction starts.
Construction Document Review
We can provide an independent review of your construction documents to check for errors and omissions. Too often construction plans have contradictions and information gaps within the document because they are developed by multiple parties and trades. This leads to unnecessary change orders and expenses!

For especially complicated projects, occasionally the only way to ensure the plans are all in agreement is to model the project in 3D. In this way, we can ‘build’ a digital representation of the project well before the construction process starts. By catching errors in advance we can mitigate unnecessary change orders and save you money!

We are able to generate images in all major file types and at various resolutions. You do not need any proprietary software to view the renders we make for you. If you are unsure what you need, we can work with you to make sure the image you receive fits any unique case. For example, a 3D render used for a brochure may require a different filetype and resolution than one needed for a website. Speaking of websites, we can create an image for your website that won’t slow down your page loading time; in fact, we can even decrease the loading time of your website by compressing already existing renders! What makes us unique?
For starters, we are based in Texas and all of the work we do is performed in the United States – unlike most of the competition. Many of the larger firms outsource their work to overseas workers in order to take advantage of cheap labor. We have purposefully reviewed our prices to be competitive with (and sometimes lower than) firms who do this while keeping our work in the United States.
Additionally, Caldwell Consulting & Design keeps up to date with new and developing technologies so that we can implement modern design tools for our client’s benefit. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.
We aren’t happy until you are happy. We will only collect final payment once you put your final stamp of approval on the work we provide. Need multiple renders of the same project at different camera angles too? No problem! Are you struggling to decide between different finishes and materials? We can offer multiple renderings of the same project with entirely different material and texture choices so that you can be truly certain you are making the right design choices! We offer this all for the price that you may pay for a single render from most other companies.
